Kristin Leest, hailing from Newtown, Connecticut, discovered her profound love for animals in the embrace of her upbringing. This affection, cultivated alongside her grandmother's three-decade dedication to an animal welfare organization, laid the foundation for Kristin's enduring passion for poodles and philanthropy.
In 2009, Kristin took a transformative leap, earning her certification as a dog trainer, and launching a journey immersed in the world of dogs. Fast forward to 2012, the arrival of her first son underscored the importance of adding a poodle to the family dynamic.

Today, Kristin's life unfolds in the charm of Charleston, South Carolina, where she shares her home with her husband Martin, son Ryan, three stepchildren—Maggie, Walter, and Patrick—and her incredible poodle crew: Heidi, Riley, Roxy, Ruby, Ginger, Nala, and Hank and Harry.
